Survey data entry requires understanding both the form structure and the analytical purpose. A coding scheme for open-text responses must be applied consistently across all respondents — not interpreted differently by different operators. A Likert scale must be entered with the correct directional value — 1 to 5 or 5 to 1 depending on how the scale is oriented. Conditional questions that appear only when a prior question has a specific response must be handled correctly for respondents who skipped those conditionals.
We review your survey instrument, coding scheme, output structure and analysis tool requirements before production begins. A pilot batch of 50-100 completed forms is processed for your review so data entry approach, coding consistency and output format are confirmed before the full research dataset is committed.
Our India-based survey data entry team has processed research surveys across consumer research, employee engagement, academic studies, clinical research, public health, customer satisfaction and political opinion research — adapting to the specific survey design and analysis requirements of each research context.
