Pipedrive records are deliberately connected: people belong to organizations, deals link to people and organizations, and activities show the work expected next. Entry rules should preserve that structure rather than upload disconnected objects.
A stage label is not merely a category. It can affect reporting, priorities and sales behaviour. The client defines what evidence permits a stage change and who owns that decision. Operators can record approved facts without interpreting optimism in a sales note as permission to move a deal.
Activity entry also needs precision. Type, owner, due date, participants and related deal should be known. Vague follow-up language is returned for clarification rather than converted into a confident calendar commitment.
