Cost matters, but an inexpensive process that creates correction work is not a saving. A sound comparison includes setup time, management effort, exception handling and whether the output can enter the next system without extensive repair.
Offshore delivery can also create useful time-zone coverage. A batch prepared during one team’s off-hours may be ready for review when its working day begins. Schedules should be based on the real handoff, not on a generic promise of overnight turnaround.
Not every task should be outsourced. Work that depends on undocumented knowledge, unrestricted system authority or frequent professional judgement should first be redesigned or retained internally. We will identify those boundaries during sample review.
